Weekly Newsletter 7/28

Hello! I hope you all enjoy your deliveries this week. I have a great recipe using the poblano peppers I've shared on social media in the past. If you're not on social media you can find it here: Poblano pepper recipe

We were featured in East Cobb News on Monday!

We were recently made aware that Lassiter High school has a food pantry. We've been in contact with the PTSA and we're planning on donating fresh produce once a month. If this is something you'd like to be involved in, please let me know. You can donate to us or directly to Lassiter's PTSA. We're still waiting on numbers regarding how many families and specific needs.

We're passionate about getting healthy food to those who are facing food insecurity, especially in our own backyard.

There will be a $10 grab bag today. The order form opens at NOON and closes when we're sold out. This week will include some, not all of the following: Potatoes, onions, squash, romaine, cucumbers, oranges, cherry tomatoes, tomatoes, corn, peaches, apples, okra, peppers, green beans.

Now that school's almost here we would love to partner with your school, team or charity event with one of our fundraisers!  For the Fall we offer pumpkins, giant pumpkins for raffles, apples for sale by the bushel or peck. In the Spring we have our popular vegetable plants and hanging baskets. Let us know how we can help!

Good luck to all of our parents seeing their children off to school Monday-and to the parents of seniors (like me) don't forget to pick up some extra kleenex this weekend.

A special thank you to all of the teachers, staff, administrators, maintenance staff and bus drivers for pouring in to our children this coming year.

Place your orders by 3 PM Monday for delivery Wed/Thursday.
