Meal Planning

It’s time! I swear I was just getting excited about the cover coming off our neighborhood pool. For some it’s a hard time of firsts and lasts, for others it’s getting back to work, for the rest of us it’s getting back into the swing of things.

Our kids are college aged now, but for me it was like New Years. A time to start new habits, get back into meal planning, eating at a normal time (although sports had a thing or two to say about that) and packing up my lunch with healthy options the night before.

Like all things in life, meal planning can be as miserable or as easy as you choose. There are endless free options online, but I’m going to tell you which one is absolutely THE BEST. Are you ready for it? It’s the one that you’ll do! I usually scratch out a few things on a sheet of paper, but I’ve found filling out the attached form is fun too.

Eating healthier doesn’t have to be something you dread. Take a break from doom scrolling and spend about 30 minutes planning out your meals. It will make your life so much easier.
