Hello and Happy almost New Year!  I hope you all are enjoying the holiday season and the frigid temperatures. 

An update regarding ordering:

I'm not sharing breaking news by telling you about the current state of the nation's food costs-It's incredibly expensive, poor quality or hard to find.

For most of 2022, particularly the last quarter, our wholesale prices have increased by 35-150%. Some items such as berries, lettuce weren't available.

This time of year the most of the produce is being sourced from California and Mexico. In addition to supply chain issues, the recent cold snap has wiped out many farmer's crops in Florida and Southern GA.

At this time in the season we can't provide quality, regionally grown produce at affordable prices. 

We've decided to suspend produce deliveries for the remainder of the winter. 

We'll be returning in the Spring to our 3 options: Fruit, vegetable and mixed baskets with a few add ons. 

I'll be dropping off produce monthly to the Lassiter food pantry throughout the winter. 

There's a chance I may have grab bags over the winter.  (depends on what's available). I'll email you all.

Upcoming:

I'm starting vegetable plants and perennials in January. I'll email you updates with availability in February. The time to start planning your garden is now!

We have 5 spots open for school fundraisers this Spring. If this is something that would benefit your school, synagogue, church, sports team, etc please reach out. 

We are planning on a Spring plant sale/farm stand and fundraiser in April at RCA. 

We're raffling off a complete raised bed garden (bed, soil, plants, etc) including delivery and installation. 100% of the proceeds will benefit Richards Christian Academy.

I'll be making cake pops all winter. I'll have a special available for Valentine's Day.

I'll be updating via newsletters 2 x a month, on social media and the blog. I'm also taking this time to freshen up the website.
