Weekly Menu Week of March 3

Welcome back and HELLO TO MARCH! This is using a mix of last week’s basket as well at the basket to be delivered March 5 &6.

Produce delivered to East Cobb, Woodstock and Roswell February 27 and 28.

Sunday: Pot roast with fresh thyme, potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, onions and celery. I make a vegetarian version using Gardein beef tips. Homemade biscuits with strawberry compound butter on the side. Dessert- Pear tart.

Monday: Chicken noodle soup, fresh sourdough bread, side salad.

Tuesday: Frittata with broccoli, tomatoes, onions, cheddar. Sweet potato fries. Dessert: chocolate cake.

Wednesday: Shepard’s pie with sweet potato.

Thursday: Mashed acorn squash, green beans, sautéed yellow squash. Ham steak for the meat eaters, vegetarian chicken tenders. https://itsavegworldafterall.com/mashed-acorn-squash/#recipe

Friday: You’re on your own!

Saturday: Something simple like chili, soup, etc.

Start the day with protein and fiber, eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetable for snacks, leftovers for lunch!
